Adventures: Born to be Off Road

If you want to get away from the rat race of our large cities, I might have the perfect way for you to do so. Going on an off-road adventure can be a great way to disconnect from people and connect with nature. These days it feels that you must keep contact with people, be it in person or through social media. But, that can put a lot of pressure on everyone. You feel like you'll lose it from the stress at any moment. Creativity is lost and you start to feel like a robot. Go to work, go home, go to sleep, rinse and repeat. At least that's what it felt like to me. So, I had to escape, and I went on the adventure of a lifetime.

If you want to experience the freedom that I felt, you're going to need some necessary equipment before you set out on your adventure. As you'll be far away from any civilisation, you'll also be far away from a gas station. Installing a fuel can holder and putting a full jerry can in it can be a life saver. You can get fuel on your hands when filling up, so I would recommend that you get a pair of rubber gloves. You won't be wasting water just to wash your hands. When you're close to a gas station, go to it, fill up the tank, fill up the jerry can, put it in the fuel can holder and you're ready to continue your adventure.

A standard tool kit is necessary because something could break any moment and it's better to be prepared. Flashlights will help you out when it's dark and you need to go somewhere or check for something in the trunk. Take a cell phone for emergencies, but stay away from it if you're bored, you are trying to disconnect from the stress of your daily life after all. Fill up on water and food, remember to always pack extra, and you're ready to go.

Before you head on out, you need to do some planning and preparations. Going with just the equipment won't cut it. Get a map and mark out your route, so you can be sure that you're always on the track. Then, you need to decrease the air pressure in your tires so that you get more traction on rough terrain. Be prepared to encounter different situations and different people.
